Voya and Anada co-create ocean-inspired thermal ritual
Thermal sauna and wellness training company Anada has collaborated with Irish seaweed skincare company Voya to create two thermal ritual protocols inspired by the ocean.
The training, which will launch internationally in March, has been developed to help spa teams capitalise on the global resurgence of sauna bathing culture and desire for immersive wellness experiences.
The two rituals combine Voya’s thalassotherapy heritage and Anada’s contemporary thermotherapy ceremonies.
The brands say the Voya Thermal Rituals training will be supported by certified professional training in technical, sensory and performance skills, via Anada, to ensure consistent standards.

Tides of Renewal – a sauna ritual that lasts 15-17 minutes
This is a group sauna ceremony that is described as deeply restorative. It combines a seaweed infusion, guided breathwork and choreographed saunamaster towel artistry.
Designed to harmonise the nervous system, the ritual is said to stimulate circulation and reconnect guests with the rhythm of the sea.

Ocean Replenish – a steam ritual that lasts 15-17 minutes
During the steam experience, Voya’s seaweed products are used to exfoliate the skin, a cooling compress is used to rebalance the body, hydration is restored and the senses are heightened.
Deborah Carr, founder of Anada, said: “There is such a natural synergy and shared ethos between our two brands, particularly around our vision and mission to bring authentic thermal therapies to a wider audience. By combining our expertise in sauna ritual design with Voya’s seaweed-based therapy, we're making these immersive experiences more accessible and structured for spa partners. We can’t wait to see how this partnership evolves, and how guests connect with these new ocean-inspired rituals.”
Mark Walton, co-founder of Voya, said: “Anada really understands the craft of thermal rituals and we understand the craft and power of seaweed-based therapy. What we’ve created with Voya Thermal Rituals is something that feels grounded in tradition, but that also gives spa teams a practical framework to bring these experiences to their guests in a clear, thoughtful way.”
Anada
Anada launched its first UK Beauty Guild-accredited saunamaster training course last year. The course aims to help staff reach internationally-recognised standards in heat therapy techniques and wellness ceremonies.
