Sportscotland has earmarked £208,876 for two redevelopment projects.
The majority of the grant, £200,000, has been awarded to Renfrewshire Council for the upgrading of the pavilion and pitch at Seedhill Pitches in Paisley, while the rest will provide a new clubhouse for Isle of Skye Clay Target Club in Portree.
The Seedhill project includes the provision of a new third generation synthetic grass pitch and three new five-a-side multi-courts, as well as upgrading three grass football pitches, cricket wicket and pavilion.
Announcing the investment, Louise Martin CBE, Chair of sportscotland said: “This investment of £208,876 from sportscotland’s Building for Sport programme demonstrates our commitment to helping communities provide good quality, accessible facilities that meet their local priorities. This is vital if sport is to thrive in Scotland."
