Revamped pool opens in Aberdeenshire
Huntly Swimming Pool, which has been shut for five months to allow for a £450,000 refurbishment, has been reopened by Aberdeenshire Council.
Changing facilities have been upgraded and access to the reception area enhanced as part of the project, while the fitness suite has also been improved and supplied with new equipment. A new steamroom and sauna now completes the venue's line-up of facilities, which were reopened to the public on 11 September.
Richard Stroud, chair of the council's education, learning and leisure committee, said: "We are happy with the improvements made to the pool and hope that those who use it will benefit greatly from the new upgrades."
