Renowned Nepalese yoga master Ekrah Gajurel, whose fans include musician Sting and the Prince of Jodhpur, is leading the newly launched yoga and detox programme at Starwood’s The Andaman, A Luxury Collection Hotel on Langkawi island in Malaysia.
Tailored individual programmes are on offer called Alfresco Soul Stretch – curated by Gajurel – while other group sessions take place overlooking the waters of the Datai Bay all day long. Yoga tutoring will feature on therapeutic classes, mindfulness and meditation, yoga nidra and the yogic art of breathing – Pyanayama.
The resort’s V Botanical Spa offers a full detox plan, which complements the yoga programme.
