QLM consultants acquired

PHSC, the Aylesford-based provider of health, safety and environmental services, has acquired consultancy firm Quality Leisure Management (QLM).
The £460,000 deal will make QLM - which made pre tax profits of around £100,000 on an income of £825,000 in 2009 - a wholly-owned subsidiary of PHSC.
All existing QLM personnel will stay in post and the company will continue to operate from its Gloucestershire base.
Peter Mills, the founder of QLM, will continue as managing director for at least three years.
PHSC said that the acquisition will allow it to “extend its range of services and gain exposure to a new client base”.
