Premier IQ changes name
Qualifications awarding body for the sport, recreation and leisure industry, PremierIQ, has changed its name to Active IQ as of 1 September this year.
The organisation accredits qualifications awarded through universities, colleges, schools, prisons and other training institutions and is approved by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA).
Colin Deans, group product director for Premier Global, Active IQ’s parent company, said: “The new name is being launched under the banner of ‘smart qualifications for active people’, underlining the fact that our qualifications really do cover the entire field of health, fitness and recreation.”
Active IQ’s qualifications are endorsed by SkillsActive, the Sector Skills Council for Active Leisure and Learning and are recognised by REPs. Details: www.premierglobal.co.uk
