Plymouth Argyle sees off winding up petition
Plymouth Argyle Football Club (PAFC) has confirmed that winding up petitions brought against it over an unpaid tax bill have been dismissed by the High Court.
HM Revenue and Customs had issued orders against Plymouth Argyle Football Company Holdings and Home Park Properties - both of which have been withdrawn. PAFC football consultant Peter Ridsdale said: "This is nowhere near the end of the club's financial problems and does nothing take away the fact that there is still much work that it needs to do to resolve the situation."
