Olympic Development Corporation plans face vote
Members of the London Assembly are to vote on mayor Boris Johnson's plans to establish a development area in and around the capital's Olympic Park later today (18 January).
The mayor, together with his chief of staff Sir Edward Lister and Greater London Authority director of London 2012 co-ordination Neale Coleman, will be quizzed about the proposals.
If approved, a Mayoral Development Corporation will be created and will comprise the core Olympic Park; the Olympic Village; the Stratford City development site; and surrounding areas.
