New sea turtle exhibit for SeaWorld San Diego
SeaWorld is to open a new sea turtle exhibition at its San Diego park.
The exhibit, which is scheduled to open next summer, will feature a 300,000-gallon aquarium and house around 60 sea turtles and 5,000 tropical fish.
Some of the turtles hatched in the park, such as the 80 green sea turtles that were born in October 2009, whereas others will be up to 50 years old.
Tim Downing, assistant curator at the park, appeared on CBS News, and said the attraction will have a ride, interactive features and a beach.
