New play space for Hurlingham Club
London's Hurlingham Club is to install a new play space. The £350,000 contract was awarded to Sheffield-based Timberplay in a move designed to provide an area for children to complement the club's selection of sporting and recreational facilities.
The rustic play space is split into two areas, a toddler zone and an adventure zone. As a centrepiece, the play area will have one of the largest Climbing Forests in the UK. Alongside this are two tree houses with interlinking platforms and bridges, together with climbing walls and balance beams. Toddlers will be provided with suitable play equipment and a water play area.
