Museum plans for Rwandan palace
A palace which was once home to former Rwandan president, Juvenal Habayrimana, is reportedly set to be transformed into a museum.
According to the news agency Reuters, the new museum will promote reconciliation 14 years after Habayrimana's death sparked the genocide of 800,000 people in the African country. The eight-bedroom property has remained largely untouched since 1994, and John Butoto, who is overseeing the conversion project, has been quoted by Reuters as saying that is how it will remain.
"Everything will remain as it is, and within that luxury, we want to tell the history and culture of Rwanda," he said.
