London Eye reveals winter ice rink plans
Visitors to the London Eye between 20 November and 5 January will be given the opportunity to take advantage of an open air ice rink that is to be installed at the attraction.
The Merlin Entertainments-operated landmark has confirmed that all tickets for the EyeSkate must be booked with a flight on the Eye, but will include entry to the 4D experience at the South Bank site. It is the first time that an ice skating facility has been provided at the London Eye, which has also announced a range of experiences to help visitors celebrate the Christmas period.
Since opening in 2000, the London Eye has attracted more than 38 million visitors and was designed by Marks Barfield Architects. The attraction's 4D experience was unveiled in August 2009.
