Living Ventures to roll out Black House grill concept
By Sarah Todd
Bar and restaurant operator Living Ventures – owner of the The Living Room and Est Est Est chains – is to launch a third Black House grill site in Manchester next month and has revealed plans for a further brand roll out.
Called The Grill on the Alley, the Manchester property will launch on 9 August, at a cost of £500,000.
Featuring both a built-in lobster tank and a charcoal pit, The Grill on the Alley will cover 3,000sq m (33,000sq ft) and have a capacity of 170 people for dining and a further 60 people within the bar area.
The menu will boast a wide variety of fresh fish as well as Spatchcock Poussin, ostrich fillets and Kobe beef.
Living Ventures plans to roll out the Black House brand around the UK, with the intention of converting “many more” existing Est Est Est properties to the concept. Chester and Leeds city centre are likely to be the next locations for grills.
