Liverpool site to get £2.8m facelift
Liverpool's Knowledge Quarter is to undergo a £2.8m redevelopment.
The project, which will result in new public spaces being added, improvements to Brownlow hill and enhanced pedestrian and cycling routes, has been funded by NorthWest Regional Development Agency.
As part of the scheme, a new landscaped space, called Russel Square, will be created. The square will be surrounded by a new cycle and pedestrian route.
The project has been designed and developed by a partnership that includes Liverpool City Council, Liverpool Vision and Liverpool John Moores university.
