Lincolnshire leisure pool gets green light

A £2.5m refurbishment of Geoff Moulder Leisure Pool in Lincolnshire has been given the green light by Boston Borough Council.
Speculation that the proposed revamp was to be shelved during the current economic downturn came to an end when the council’s joint committee announced their decision to go ahead with the works.
The overhaul will provide the community with a new swimming pool, complete with a moveable floor and changing rooms, as well as updated equipment for the existing gym.
Cllr Brenda Owen told the Boston Target: “We need this refurbishment to deliver on our aims to make health improvements for Boston.”
