Lemmon joins énergie as deputy CEO
Health club operator the énergie Group has appointed Mark Lemmon, former CEO of pawnbroker Cash Converters, to the role of deputy chief executive.
During Lemmon's tenure as CEO, Cash Converters - which, like énergie, operates on a franchise model - developed its own corporate stores and a strong on-line offering.
More recently, Lemmon has held senior management consultancy roles with high street and brands such as the Game group.
Jan Spaticchia, énergie managing director, said: "We are delighted that Mark has joined us - his abilities will be invaluable as we expand further in the domestic and foreign markets."
The énergie Group has recently expanded into seven countries in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and the Republic of Ireland.
Lemmon said: "What is common to all franchisee businesses is the requirement of a strong support system and the backup of a dynamic brand. This is what attracted me to the énergie group in the first place - first class systems and a powerful brand."
