Legacy Hotels and Resorts has taken over the management of the former Quality Hotel Snowdonia in Llanberis, Gwynedd, and renamed it The Legacy Royal Victoria Hotel.
A £250,000 refurbishment of around one quarter of the hotel’s bedrooms is being carried out by Midlands-based HLH Interiors, in time for completion before the start of the 2008 summer season.
Legacy’s chief executive, Andy Townsend, said: “We are delighted to be the new operators of this fantastic hotel in Snowdonia.
"We are fully committed to raising the standards, facilities and service to our guests whether they are visiting for a leisure break or business.”
The refurbishment plans will continue in subsequent
periods off season.
