Lancashire holiday village plans submitted

Plans for a new environmentally-friendly holiday park development at the Park Close Quarry site near Salterforth, Lancashire, have been submitted to the local authority.
Bingley-based developer Halton Homes is behind the proposals, which are to be considered by Pendle Borough Council and include 55 lodges. A health spa will form part of a site reception building, which will also feature a retail outlet, a café and managers' accommodation under the Blue Bird Design proposals.
