Järvi introduces the Sauna Bottle: a heatproof solution for staying hydrated during sauna sessions
Dublin-based wellness company Järvi has introduced the Sauna Bottle, a heatproof water bottle designed to stay cool to the touch and keep water icy cold, even in saunas reaching 90°C, all without using plastic.
Bill Abbott, Järvi owner and product designer, shared with Spa Business: "During my visits to various saunas, I noticed a recurring problem – people struggled to stay hydrated. They relied on single-use plastic bottles that warped in the heat, metal bottles that became too hot to handle, or small water cooler cups that didn’t provide enough water.
“I wanted a better solution, one that offered cold water without the risk of burns or plastic contamination. That's how the Sauna Bottle was born; durable, sustainable and designed to keep you hydrated through every sauna session."
Crafted with sustainability in mind, the double-walled stainless steel bottle is insulated to keep water cool for up to 18 hours. It features a natural cork sleeve bonded with neoprene and a bamboo-covered lid – materials chosen specifically to remain cool to the touch, even in extreme temperatures.
While the bottles currently display Järvi’s logo, Abbott notes that if demand for white-labelling arises, the company is open to exploring custom branding options.
Järvi is currently offering the Sauna Bottle for wholesale to spas and health clubs and has already established partnerships in Norway and Sweden. The company is targeting markets across the EU, UK, Ireland, Norway and Scandinavia, with plans to expand to the U.S. within the next three to six months.
Spas interested in learning more or requesting a free sample bottle can contact Järvi via email at [email protected].
Additionally, through a partnership with Planet by Shopify, Järvi offers carbon-neutral shipping. A portion of each order contributes to carbon capture initiatives, supporting a more sustainable future.
