Kate Mearns will receive the 2026 ISPA Dedicated Contributor Award in recognition of her contributions to the spa industry.
Mearns will be given the award at the 2026 ISPA Conference, which is taking place between 31 March - 2 April next year at The Venetian in Las Vegas, US.
Each year, ISPA presents the ISPA Dedicated Contributor Award to an active member who has made significant contributions to the industry.
During her more than 30 years of experience in the spa industry, Mearns has contributed to industry research, extensive speaking engagements and has had many articles published in spa and fitness publications.
As a key voice in spa trends and wellness education, Mearns has played an important role during her tenure on the ISPA Board. This includes two years as the ISPA chair, where she strengthened member engagement, fostered collaboration across the industry, developed strategies to meet growing consumer demand for wellness experiences while ensuring high standards of service.

Mearns told Spa Business, "I am truly touched by this award. It would not be possible without the support and guidance of my friends, mentors, colleagues and the amazing opportunities I've been given over the years."
ISPA President Lynne McNees, said: “Kate has been a tremendous blessing to the global spa community. We are beyond grateful for her volunteer leadership and unwavering dedication to ISPA. Her passion and love for the spa industry inspire us all, and this award is a heartfelt and long overdue 'Thank you!'”
