The Institute of Swimming (IOS) has appointed training provider Lifetime to deliver bespoke training for the organisation.
The training will form part of the Swimming Industry and Novice entry level stages of the IOS aquatic training framework.
The bespoke programme will enable the IOS to use a standardised and nationally recognised approach to training its members.
Rob Church, operations manager for sports at Lifetime, said: “The goal of the partnership is to open up access to all areas of the endorsed training framework within the IOS and to work towards developing multi-skilled fitness professionals, swimming teachers and coaches.”
On successful completion of the training each candidate will gain a Lifetime Award in Level 2 Exercise & Fitness Knowledge.
