Exclusively Ladies opens third site
Health and fitness club brand, Exclusively Ladies, has opened its third site and has further plans to expand the women-only concept.
The club in Barnet is the result of five years’ experience in the women-only market, said founder, Kevin Owen, who opened his first site in Tring with a fully-equipped Reebok gym and which now has close to 400 members.
This was followed by the launch of a club in Henley on Thames which features motorised Exten strength equipment as well as a pilates studio with a reformer for individual tuition.
The club, which boasts close to 300 members, also offers personal training.
“We’ve learned what works from our first two sites and the Barnet club is the perfect model for us,” said Owen.
The club offers two 30-minute circuits, one for toning – which is based around Pilates exercises – and one cv-based for fat burning and stamina.
The facility also offers tailored programmes such as ski-fit, swimsuit toning as well as free nutritional advice.
A coffee bar, relaxation area, spray-on tanning booth and tropicarium – a light steam and aromatherapy room – complete the offer.
The club has a target membership of 700 and if successful, the company plans to expand the concept.
