Escape Fitness has strengthened its continental European team with the appointments of Raimo Treffers and Katrin Jaernecke

Treffers will take up the position of trade sales account and distribution business manager while Jaernecke has been appointed the company’s new national key account manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Treffers has been tasked with developing and expanding Escape’s indirect sales channels and will be based at the company’s offices in Soest, Germany. Treffers's remit covers Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic and Israel.

Prior to joining the company, Treffers worked for Life Fitness, responsible for managing distributors in Africa, the Middle-East and Europe.

Meanwhile, Jaernecke's role has been created specifically to support the company's expansion plans for Europe. She will be responsible for managing and developing Escape's key accounts and independent operators – such as fitness and sports centres, hotels and rehab centres across the German speaking countries.
