A new spa managed by ESPA is to launch early next year at Hotel Europe, situated on the front of the Loch Lein Lake in Killarney, Ireland.
The spa – which has interiors designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) – will feature a rock garden entrance.
The first level of the 53,820sq ft (5,000sq m) spa will be the active level with Kinesis and t’ai chi studio, a plunge pool, indoor and outdoor vitality pools, heat experiences and a brasserie.
There is also a heat experience area consisting of a saltwater vitality pool, steamroom and an ice fountain plus a stone-clad swimming pool, with a floor-to-ceiling mirror wall.
The spa’s 16 treatment rooms will be located on the second level and have been designed around an internal courtyard, complete with topiary sculptures. The second level also features a nail salon and a private suite with a Wenge-clad sauna, which overlooks the lake.
