ECB reviews Test match allocation process
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed that it has looked at the way in which the host grounds of major international fixtures are determined.
According to the BBC, a spokesperson for the national governing body said its management board had met to review the allocation process and potential future options. The spokesperson said: "It is something we are conscious of and we are aware it is something the grounds have concerns about."
It comes after Yorkshire County Cricket Club said it would not be bidding to host an Ashes Test match in 2013 due to financial concerns.
