Dustin Grosz named Star Trac president
Dustin Grosz has been confirmed as the new president and chief operating officer of fitness equipment supplier Star Trac with immediate effect.
Grosz has been appointed to succeed Mike Leveque and is former chief executive officer of Core Fitness, which trades as StairMaster. In his new role with Star Trac, Grosz will aim to streamline the business and to reposition it from manufacturing products to managing a global supply chain.
Processes will be changed and new lines of communications opened as part of the move, as well as leading a company-wide effort to strengthen customer service. Grosz said: "Being profitable will allow us to deliver on our brand promises and ultimately help us win back customers by providing better customer service.
"We need to grow revenue in a way that benefits Star Trac as a company, but that also benefits our customers." Star Trac chair and chief executive officer Michael Bruno added: "We have emerged from the ABC process as a stable company, one that is better positioned to take care of our customers.
"With Grosz leading the way, we will strengthen the company's ability to provide the product innovation, quality reliability and customer service that have been the Star Trac brand legacy since 1979."
