DJ, dancers and dare devil to headline 'MTV plugs into Dreamworld' live shows this summer

The ramps are in place, a flash backdrop has been built and those three little letters with the power to trigger a massive youth reaction - MTV -- are hammered on the midnight black wall of Dreamworld's 1200 seat amphitheatre.

The set is ready and now, the first names for the MTV Plugs into Dreamworld - Summer Series cast are out. DJ Fly Girl Tee, moto-cross stunt legend Mark Brown and three white-hot dancers including Pania Taku, Cory To'o and Briden Aspinall will help guest celebrities Nacho Pop and Ashley Cheadle ignite the crowds.

Alone, each talent is outstanding. Combined, the cast creates a multi-tiered audio-visual spectacular stuffed to the brim with choreography, high-flying stunts, pumping music, MTV moments and tripped out graphics. They are:

The Stunt Man:

A big name in the Australian Moto Cross circuit and fresh from performing with P!NK and Cary Hart on the Hart & Huntington Tour, Mark "Brownie" Brown is set to roar onto the stage on his legendary mini-moto cross performing heart stopping tricks, aerial feats and fearless jumps. Five ramps of various shapes and sizes and coated in burning gold will launch his two-wheeled spectacular. The question is: will there be room for Brownie to do his iconic flat spin 360?

The Dance Crew: Diverting the action back to the stage with popping, locking, flipping and spinning, and a bunch of other contemporary dance moves are Pania, Cory and Briden.

They may be young, but their association with some of the biggest names in performance is long. Pania Taku is easily recognised for her top 14 placement in this year's So You Think You Can Dance; aerial artist and seasoned dance pro, Cory To'o, has performed live with Lily Allen, Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Olivia Newton John and Briden Aspinall is a 17 year old rising graduate from the Brent Street performing arts school with a long list of theatre and TV work already behind her.

Trained by master choreographer Leah Howard, whose professional credits include local productions of Hair, Fame, and AvenueQ in addition to the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2000 Olympics, the dancers have just minutes to transfer their talent and help the contestants win.

The Music:

Tying it all together on the stage is one of Australia's flyest female DJs, Fly Girl Tee. In demand for her crowd rocking abilities following gigs with international acts like Ne-Yo, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and Akon, this switched on maestro, radio DJ and resident DJ of MTV's "The Lair" will tear the roof off with all the tunes that define MTV's most memorable moments.

Her recipe for rocking the room is proven: one part turntable skill, equal parts crowd reading ability and stylistic flash, and a dash of bubbly personality.

The Celebrity guests: Throughout the four week season, some of Australia's best known faces will add their own hosting twist to the electrifying gigs.

The first two off the rank are renowned choreographer from the smash hit So You Think You Can Dance, Nacho Pop (aka Nate Mendelsohn) and the face of Billabong, professional surfer turned actress, Ashley Cheadle. More celebrity guests will be announced over the coming weeks.

A New York city native, Nacho Pop was inspired to dance by the local hip-hop culture and street corner breakers and quickly established himself as one of Australia's leading hip-hop performers when he moved to Sydney seven years ago. Since then he has danced in television commercials, performed with The Black Eyed Peas and impressed Australia with his charisma as the behind-the-scenes host of So You Think You Can Dance. Meanwhile, the talented Ashley Cheadle who launched her acting career in the Hollywood movie, Fool's Gold, and now appears in ABC's cult teen series Blue Water High will bring some sassy surf spirit to the stadium.

The ramps are in place, a flash backdrop has been built and those three little letters with the power to trigger a massive youth reaction - MTV -- are hammered on the midnight black wall of Dreamworld's 1200 seat amphitheatre.
