Croatian hotelier grows Sensori brand
A new spa brand called Sensori has made its debut in two locations on Hvar Island, Croatia.
Sensori spa is a collaboration between Orco Property Group and Suncanî Hvar Hotels Group, which owns nine hotels on Hvar and is the only privatised hotel group in Croatia.
Voted one of the 10 most beautiful islands in the world by Condé Nast Traveler, Hvar, on the Adriatic coast, has an unspoiled landscape and a sunny microclimate, and according to Orco’s head of spa development, Corinne Ott, is an inspirational setting for a spa.
The Sensorî spa at Adriana, Hvar marina hotel was the first to open in June, swiftly followed by the Sensorî C at Bonj les bains. Sensorî O is scheduled for launch at the Amfora Hvar grand beach resort, conference and spa in 2008.
The Sensori concept integrates design elements inspired by its island environment, incorporates local healing traditions and indigenous plants in the treatments.
The spa at the Adriana has indoor and outdoor amenities, including a rooftop seawater swimming pool and outdoor terraces for massage, yoga and relaxation.
Treatments on the menu include sea-mud wraps and olive and sea salt scrubs. Yoga and pilates are also offered.
