Christmas is Dome shaped
London’s Millennium Dome will be hosting what is claimed to be one of Europe’s largest Christmas events.
Commencing on 6 December and running from 11am to 10pm daily until New Year’s Eve, the structure will offering a range of attractions for people of all ages.
Accompanied by more than 20 big prize skill games, a range of traditional family theme park rides will include a 25m high, 55mph Tsunami roller coaster, dodgems and a giant carousel, as well as a variety of rides for small children.
Also on offer will be a German Christmas market; Santa’s workshop; a circus; a Cartoon Network area for playing games and winning prizes and also the largest temporary ice rink in the UK.
A range of gift, toy and food stores will be available, plus restaurants, cafés and a bar.
Admission to the site is free for the under-13’s and over-60’s and £10 for everyone else. Some of the attractions will be priced separately. Details: www.winterwonderlanduk.com
