Cadbury House Hotel & Country Club in Congresbury is expanding its health club and spa centre.
A £650,000 extension of the existing gym at theclub will create a further 178sq m (1,915sq ft) of floor space, to provide members with more equipment. In addition, a new studio and separate children’s gym will be built to increase the range of classes and courses available.
Managing director Nick Taplin said: “The new studio and gym extension will provide a lot more space for our members to enjoy the facilities and will add to theclub’s popularity.
“The proposed children’s gym will provide a facility not available in the area and will complement the club’s health promotional work, which includes links with a local medical centre to promote healthy lifestyles for children and adults.”
The facility already boasts a 20m swimming pool and an 80-exercise station gym. Details: www.cadburyhouse.com
