'Broad support' for SPL restructuring plans

Plans to implement the findings of a review into Scottish football - including scaling down the size of the Scottish Premier League (SPL) - have received 'broad support' from clubs.
SPL member clubs have pledged to help restructure the Scottish league system, which will see a 10-team Premiership and a 12-team Championship at the top of the pyramid. A SPL spokesperson said: "The SPL clubs have asked the executive team to further develop aspects of these proposals and to update the Strategic Review Group's report."
