British Hospitality Association members enjoy success at 2006 Cateys
A number of British Hospitality Association members enjoyed success at the 2006 Catey Awards.
The annual Caterer and Hotelkeeper Awards, now in their 23rd year, were presented at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel earlier this month.
Among the winners were the following members of the BHA:
– Exclusive Hotels, for the Best Group Marketing Campaign
– Terry Holmes of Red Carnation Hotels, recipient of the Tourism Award – Robyn Jones of Charlton House, who was named Food Service Caterer of the Year
– Bruce Poole of Chez Bruce, who received the Chef Award – The Chester Grosvenor and Spa, Hotel of the Year in the Independent Category
– Eddie McIntyre of Birmingham College, for the Education and Training Award – Nick Basing of Paramount, as Restaurateur of the Year in the Group Category
– Robert Cook, of Malmaison and Hotel du Vin, as Manager of the Year.
Renowned chef Gordon Ramsay also secured a hattrick of Catey awards when he was named Restaurateur of the Year in the Independent category, having previously won Catey awards in 1995 and 2000.
