Booking system from TOR will reach for the Sky
TOR Systems has been awarded a contract to implement its booking system at the new Sky Garden attraction at the top of London’s newest skyscraper, 20 Fenchurch Street – dubbed the Walkie-Talkie.
TOR’s ‘Maxim’ system will be used to manage all bookings at the free-to-access Sky Garden, which occupies the top three floors of Rafael Vinoly's 37 storey, 525ft skyscraper.
As well as offering a landscaped garden and uninterrupted views across London, a bar, public terrace and restaurant also feature.
The Maxim system provides functionality for group bookings or events, walk in admissions, timed activities, on-line bookings, retail and catering and integration to finance, stock control, catering and access control systems.
The system has had a huge amount of investment over the years and today provides functionality within ticketing and booking for groups or events, walk-in admissions, timed and capacity-controlled activities, online bookings, membership, trade sales, flexible reporting, CRM, retail and catering, as well as opportunities to integrate to third-party systems.
We support the UK visitor attractions sector including museums, galleries, theme parks, viewing platforms, heritage sites and gardens, including the British Museum, Imperial War Museums, Brighton Pavilion and Buildings, British Airwaysi360, and new customers like Bournemouth Oceanarium and many more.
