Abacus funds local school cricketers

Nottinghamshire-based Abacus Lighting has provided funding and playing kit for the cricket squad of Nottingham High School who'll be taking part in an overseas tournament.
The Sir Garfield Sobers Competition is an annual under-19, 40-over affair that sees between 20 and 28 schools from around the globe taking part.
As part of their help, Abacus also arranged a visit from Sir Garfield himself - who played for the county from 1968 to 1974 - to give the boys some tips and advice.
Abacus is responsible for the floodlights at Trent Bridge, which are currently being used in the ICC World Twenty20 competition.
The company has also installed the new floodlighting system at Barbados' Kensington Oval Cricket Ground as well as finishing the floodlighting at Lord's and the Brit Oval.
