eGym has announced the appointment of Martin Fichter to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer.

The company has recently undergone a major expansion and has created the new position to keep up with increasing demands.

German-native Fichter, who has more than twenty years experience working at Siemens, Flextronics and HTC in China and the US, will oversee production, procurement, customer management, training management, logistics and supply chain management as well as human resources.

Fichter says: “Facing the challenge of combining hardware and cloud software is incredibly fascinating for me and opens up substantial opportunities to significantly enhance the operator and end user experience.”
