Organiser of SPATEX 2020, Michele Bridle cordially invites you to attend the industry’s event of the year. With a raft of new product launches and the cream of the international wet leisure industry amassed at the Ricoh Arena’s Ericsson Hall, it promises to be a spectacular. Here’s a sample of what’s in-store.

Bigger and better stands

Bridle says: “For me, this year’s fantastic build-up to SPATEX 2020 has been characterised by so many companies returning and requesting larger stands. For example, Aqua Warehouse, Astral, SCP, Spa Solutions, Dryden Aqua, Paramount Pools, Lighthouse Pools, Ardex, Blue Whale Spas, Ocea, Passion Spas, Mosaic Spa Company, Spa Parts Vortex have all requested more space. This is coupled with a raft of new companies and thirty-two spa and spa related companies, including some of the sector’s biggest names.”

NEW! The Green light

The 2020 edition of SPATEX is promoting an awareness of the environment and you will see lots of new products promoting a reduced energy, low carbon footprint. SPATEX is leading the way - from supplying recycled PET environmentally friendly lanyards, compostable containers and cutlery and minimal food packaging to providing recycling bins in the exhibition hall.

NEW ISPE Workshops

SPATEX is well known for being the Industry’s greatest source of FREE knowledge with CPD points and certificates of attendance available to all attendees of the Institute of Swimming Pool Engineers (ISPE) seminars in Arena 1. This year, there are 22 different sessions running throughout the three days of the Show, of which 16 are new titles and six are promoting Green issues (these are highlighted in green on the website and in the Showguide). For example:

- Wednesday January 29 11.00 (Arena 1) – Energy Savings for your Pool

- Wednesday January 29 13.30 (Arena 1) – Energy Savings via the use of Automatic Valves

Once again there will be a parallel seminar programme in Arena 2 with a host of diverse topics ranging from how to set up an e-commerce webshop on Tuesday to the special needs of animal hydrotherapy pools and spas on Wednesday.

There’s a party and you’re invited!

The Green theme extends to the now famous SPATEX networking party on the Wednesday evening in the Ricoh Arena’s Clubhouse Bar. It starts after the exhibition closes at 5pm and all exhibitors and visitors are warmly invited. We will supply Green hats (of course!), drinks, nibbles and you supply the chat. RENEWED Industry endorsement

Boasting a 24-year heritage, SPATEX 2020 is fortunate to count the Industry’s many esteemed associations amongst its media partners and call upon their expertise. PWTAG (Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group) will be holding an all-day seminar on the Thursday of the Show. The STA (Swimming Teachers’ Association) is holding a Pool Plant Conference on the Tuesday in Seminar Arena 2 from 10.30 to 12.05.

Hands on demos

There’s nothing like someone showing you how it should be done! Leaks in pools and spas are the bane of a pool builder’s life - Leak Detection masterclass 13.30 – 14.30 on Tuesday 28 January in Seminar Arena 1. Plus, Pump Strip-down masterclass 12.30 -13.30 on Wednesday 29 January in Seminar Arena 1.

NEW! A case in point

This year we have offered our exhibitors the opportunity to give a 30-minute talk in Arena 2 in which they present a company case study which demonstrates the efficacy of their products out in the field.
