Fitness equipment manufacturer and supplier Precor has launched the Experience Series EFX 800.

Using a patented converging CrossRamp which is designed to mimic a person’s path of motion as they walk and run, the exercise is designed to feel more natural.

Three independent research studies and rigorous testing have optimised the elliptical design, says Precor. Studies on diversity of motion paths and the impact on the body, such as how muscle activation patterns can change depending on the training angle of the ramp were also done.

Other features include a personalised workout with touch screen console, a modernised design and a sleek frame.

The machine has a covered ramp, rear cover and pivot joints for ease of cleaning and has tool-less detachable panels, and active light status alerts when it needs attention.
