Revamp planned for Westhoughton facility

A leisure facility in Westhoughton, Greater Manchester, is in line for a £656,000 renovation after the proposals were given the green light by the local town council.
According to The Bolton News, Westhoughton Town Council officially approved the plans and has paved the way for work to start in January, subject to Bolton Council backing.
The newspaper said the scheme will include an extended entrance to the facility; a new gym with up to 50 stations; an improved reception area; and upgraded changing facilities.
