Hadleigh Pool and Leisure reopens

The Hadleigh Pool and Leisure facility in in Suffolk has reopened to the public following a £2.4m redevelopment that took a year to complete.
The new facilities, which will be run by South Suffolk Leisure on behalf of Babergh District Council.
Babergh District Council, supported by Hadleigh Town Council, has invested more than £2.4m in the new centre which includes a 25m swimming pool and a community room, fitness suite, a group fitness studio and an osteopath and beauty therapy treatment clinic.
Tracey Copping, Chief Executive of South Suffolk Leisure, said: "Our aim is to lead the way to active living.
"We hope to engage, inspire and provide the local community with everything they need to take part in regular and supported exercise, along with providing a great place for individuals, groups and clubs to meet and hold sessions and events. We feel that the new facilities provide something for everyone."
