A six-year business relationship with a forward thinking leisure provider has culminated in Xn Leisure developing a ground-breaking mobile bookings site, which is set to revolutionise the way the industry interacts with its customers.

Following a ‘root and branch’ review and re-tendering of its business IT solutions, the relationship between the two companies moved up a gear, resulting in a full upgrade of existing solutions and a beta testing partnership which is already shaping future leisure solutions.

Chris Phillips, business development manager at Xn Leisure, said: "We have been working with our strategic partners Surrey Sports Park for the past four months, developing and testing our new mobile bookings product."

Jacqui Lipinski, head of systems and business support with Surrey Sports Park, said: "The software recognises whether the user is logging on from a desk top computer or mobile phone and shows one of two sites depending on the device - the whole process is incredibly straightforward.

"It’s really fantastic knowing that Surrey Sports Park has been involved with the development of a new solution which, I firmly believe, will change the way leisure bookings are made in the future.

Surrey Sports Park is a state-of-the-art sporting venue with world class facilities. The Park proudly hosted 16 Olympic and Paralympic teams for pre-games training, including GB Basketball, Singapore, US Triathlon and Chinese Synchronised Swimming.

The centre includes a 700m sq health and fitness centre, a 50m swimming pool, outdoor facilities, including floodlit tennis courts and football pitches as well as three multi-use sports halls.
