Technogym launched its Wellness On The Go digital ‘ecosystem’, which connects its fitness equipment with consumer mobile devices, apps and movement tracking to allow operators to manage members’ activities inside and outside the club and drive new business models.

The service brings together a number of key elements: Technogym’s Unity console, available on Artis and Excite equipment lines; the cloud-based MyWellness Cloud platform, which connects operators, trainers and members to create a personalised training experience, including access to a range of apps; the new MyWellness app, which allows operators to keep clubs in touch with their members in and outside the club, and which integrates with data from other apps such as RunKeeper; and a new Prescribe app that allows trainers and instructors to monitor all members’ exercise data, with a library of exercises and programmes.
