TVS keeps the noise down at The Gym Group's busy Reading site

TVS used Sportec Style tiles in the heavy lifting area
TVS Sports Surfaces flooring experts have completed a high-spec installation at The Gym Group’s Reading site.
TVS used heavy-duty, interlocking Sportec Style tiles over acoustically tested and shock-absorbing layers in the heavy lifting area of the gym.
TVS built up the materials specifically to control noise and vibration in this environment.
The gym, one of The Gym Group’s 65 clubs, is sited in a shopping centre with retailers, cafes and restaurants nearby and the flooring solution is designed to minimise any noise and vibration disturbance, caused by falling objects such as barbells, dumbbells and kettle-bells, to tenants operating in other areas of the building.
Sportec Color-15, a resilient, non-slip and cushioned surface suitable for functional training activities was installed for gym members to workout safely.
TVS Sports Surfaces are the exclusive supplier of Sportec and Euroflex products in the UK and Ireland.
