A range of flavoured natural peanut butters fortified with whey protein isolate has been launched by sports nutrition company GoNutrition.

The ‘Whey More Nuts’ range provides 50g of protein per 100g, and comes in three flavours: chocolate peanut, chocolate coconut and cinnamon spice. They are flavoured with natural ingredients and use natural sweetener xylitol.

As well as being high in protein, the whey protein fortified peanut butter is high in fibre, low in sugar and contains all the vitamins and minerals found in traditional peanut butter, according to GoNutrition.

The company says Whey More Nuts is particularly beneficial when increasing size due to the high calorie content, but can still be eaten as a treat when looking to cut fat. Handmade in the UK, the product can be eaten straight from the tub, spread on foods or added to recipes.
