Neptunus recently provided several additional training facilities to help the Dutch Olympic Team prepare for the 2012 Olympics at its Papendal National Sports Centre in Arnhem, the Netherlands.

As the official temporary structures supplier to the Netherlands Olympic Committee (NOC*NSF), a team of Neptunus experts constructed three semi-permanent Evolution structures. Each structure was installed and ready for use within three weeks, to allow athletes the optimum amount of training time.

The structures included a custom-made 1,300sq m sprint hall which was connected to an existing building and fitted with a specially manufactured floor to incorporate a running track.

Another multi-purpose hall, covering 1,125sq m was also built with a side wall height of 13m, to cater for a range of sports including badminton and volleyball with the wall panels supplied in green, the official requirement for badminton.

The final structure was a fencing hall, completing the additional facilities that NOC*NSF needed.

The Neptunus Evolution temporary structure is particularly suitable for sports and leisure applications, features durable components and is readily available as well as being quick to assemble.

Their fully-relocatable structures can also be used to market test new locations to help determine whether a facility would attract new members. The structures can also be used as an emergency measure in the event of a fire or flood, where structures can be supplied from stock on a rolling contract to help customers through the recovery.
