Life Fitness in Kingsmead refit

In a collaboration with Active Life - Kent's biggest health and leisure operator - fitness equipment manufacturer Life Fitness has refurbished and re-equipped the Kingsmead Leisure Centre in Canterbury.
Following its £250,000 refresh, the facility now boasts 75 Life Fitness stations with 40 pieces of Elevation Series Engage cardiovascular kit with built in entertainment iPod connectivity and touch screen TV’s, plus Achieve IFI cardiovascular equipment. There is also a dedicated Signature Strength Zone, Cable Motion Zone, Hammer Strength Performance Zone and Free Weights Area.
In addition to the fitness suite, the centre also offers three swimming pools, dance and fitness studios, a group cycle studio, mind and body studio, a full size sports hall and health and beauty rooms. A previous collaboration with Active Life saw Life Fitness providing a leisure centre revamp for Whitstable Community College in September 2010, while a further refurbishment is planned for Herons Leisure Centre in Herne Bay this coming September.
