LIW showcase for new Technogym products
Leisure Industry Week this year will see Technogym showcasing no fewer than seven new products.
Active Wellness TV and iPod Integration have been designed to offer an intuitive user-defined experience - enabling users to find the entertainment that suits them - which includes a seamless integration with the iPod.
Powered through the Excite CV range, users can control their entertainment directly via their equipment display and will be able to view their iPod contents and exercise data at the same time.
Excite TOP is a piece of upper body cardio equipment created to replicate the action of the grinders. It has been designed for use in sport, rehabilitation and warm up for all level of users.
Excite JOG is the company's latest commercial treadmill, providing the ergonomic design and robustness of the Excite RUN treadmills whilst incorporating some new design features.
It takes up less space and is lower than other treadmills, without compromising on the running belt size or speed. Features include simplified and enlarged graphics and the unique 'ready to run' alert which indicates to customers when the treadmill will be available for use.
PURE Strength is a new plate-loaded strength training collection aimed at expert and more demanding users.
One of the ranges to be used by athletes during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, it comprises 10 pieces of equipment, each designed to maximise muscular activation, whilst creating a safe trajectory for every single joint.
FLEXability is Technogym’s first ever line which aids and promotes the regular practice of stretching as an essential part of a wellness lifestyle.
It helps to stretch the anterior and posterior muscle chains and is designed to help in the reduction of back pain, to assist relaxation and in the prevention of injury.
Contact Manager is a client management tool, a new module of the Wellness System. Integrating FIA retention principles it can be applied to both Training and Professional Editions and was devised in response to the need to form a closer and more personal bond between the club and its members.
The latest addition to Technogym's resistance offering is a new free weights range.
Made from a durable material to minimise damage to equipment, walls and floors, the urethane-encased discs and dumbbells include design features such as colour contrasting weight markers for easy identification.
The dumbbells have a 360? rotation of the handle to minimise excess loading and tension on the wrist and a rotating shield on the inner side to protect the hand.
