ELASKO, a London based stretch fitness brand has just released the first mobile stretch and posture bar at the FIBO Cologne. This new venture is in collaboration with NOHrD, the innovators of wooden fitness equipment and part of the established WaterRower brand.

The bar was designed by stretch guru and PT Sonja Laskowski who, with a background in gymnastics and ballet, saw the need for various anchor points for support and assistance during stretch and posture moves. Sonja’s passion is to change the perception of stretch “I see how people struggle with posture, range of movement and aches and pains, which all effects mental health and confidence, especially as we age. I wanted to create a stand-up stretch solution but also an integrated comfortable mat for those extra relaxing, mindful movements’

What started off as a bespoke product has now blossomed into full production and global distribution from the NOHrD hub in Germany.

The ELASKO bar and stretch system is running live from a studio in East London as a PT concept and small boutique classes plus as a home stretch fitness system with a bespoke app. To fast track the video content during lockdown, Sonja and her partner spent six months in the UAE filming unique and uplifting content.

The bar can be manufactured in six wood types, all sustainable managed and the NOHrD | ELASKO app is available to download for all devices. From June the ELASKO academy launches to enable fitness professionals to be coached on the ELASKO stretch program.
