press release: Output Sports
Output Sports launches Program Uploader to give coaches their time back
New AI feature turns existing PDF and CSV programmes into fully structured plans in under two minutes. Available now in Beta for Output Program customers.
Output Sports has launched Program Uploader, a new AI-powered feature that transforms existing training programmes into fully structured plans inside the Output platform in minutes. The release marks the company’s most significant programming update to date and removes one of the biggest barriers coaches face when adopting a new system: rebuilding years of existing programming work from scratch.
Available now in Beta for Output Program customers, Program Uploader allows coaches to open the Program Builder inside Output Hub, upload an existing PDF or CSV file, and instantly generate a fully structured training programme. Output’s AI automatically matches exercises from the Output library, flags any movements requiring review, and assigns a confidence score to every suggested match. Exercises matched at 90 percent confidence or higher are confirmed automatically, with the entire process typically completed in under two minutes.
The launch represents a major step forward for Output Program, the company’s complete coaching and athlete management platform. Program Uploader headlines a broader May 20 product release that also introduces Calendar Compliance — bringing live attendance and compliance tracking directly into the Output Hub calendar — alongside refinements to velocity prescription in Workout Builder and new PIN protection functionality for coaches operating across shared devices in schools, clubs, universities and performance environments.
For many coaches, switching programming platforms has historically meant hours — and often days — of manual rebuilding, formatting and data entry before they could begin working effectively. Program Uploader fundamentally changes that experience, enabling coaches to bring their existing methodologies, systems and coaching philosophy directly into Output without disruption.
“Coaches have already invested years developing programmes that reflect their philosophy, experience and expertise,” said Martin O'Reilly, founder of Output Sports. “We never wanted adopting Output Program to mean starting again. Program Uploader removes that friction completely. Coaches can now take the work they already trust and operationalise it inside Output in minutes, not days. That’s a huge shift in how quickly organisations can onboard, scale and start delivering value to athletes.”
Since launching in Dublin in 2020, Output Sports has partnered with more than 800 organisations globally, including professional teams across the NFL, MLB and Premier League, as well as universities, performance facilities and rehabilitation clinics. Program Uploader continues the company’s focus on reducing friction in high-performance environments and making elite-level coaching infrastructure faster, more connected and easier to adopt at scale.
Program Uploader is available now in Beta for Output Program customers.
