St Catherine's centre to open in spring

The developers of the St Catherine's Walk mixed-use scheme in Carmarthen, west Wales, have announced that the complex will open to the public in spring.
Funded by clients of Invista Real Estate Investment Management and developed in partnership with Simons Group and Carmarthenshire County Council, St Catherine's Walk provides a number of leisure facilities as well as 245,000sq ft of retail space.
The development includes a 1,000 seat, six-screen Apollo cinema directly off a newly created public square, alongside a number of restaurants and cafés.
Confirmed tenants include Pizza Express, Frankie & Benny's and Starbucks.
Jo Scott, Head of Retail at Invista, said: "Working closely with Simons Developments, this development strengthens its position as a prime Welsh tourist destination, as well as supporting the town's much needed regeneration.
"With a hugely affluent, yet undersupplied regional catchment area, the development presents an exciting opportunity for us and we are pleased to be involved from such an early stage in the development plans."
DTZ, Ian Metcalfe & co and Jones Lang La Salle all act as advisors on the letting of the scheme.
