Spurs delists from London Stock Exchange
Tottenham Hotspur Football Club (THFC) has confirmed it has delisted its shares from the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in a bid to raise funds for its stadium redevelopment.
In November, the Premier League club said the London Stock Exchange listing "restricted" its ability to raise necessary support for its Northumberland Development Project (NDP).
A statement to the London Stock Exchange said: "[THFC] confirms that the last day of dealing in its ordinary shares on AIM was 13 January 2012."
The club is proposing to develop a 56,250-seat stadium designed by the KSS Group at the heart of the NDP, which will also contribute to the regeneration of Tottenham.
